Some kids want to be pilot other dream about being a movie star, a singer or a speed car racer but out of all the kids some kids are able to make history and leave a legacy in the field they dreamt about when they were kids. Once such kid grew up to be one of the richest person alive on earth and the most charitable person ever alive. He is the name in the investing and he had made his fortune out of his investments.

Warren Buffet, when he was a small boy, did his first investment, which was buying 3 stocks of the company. He bought the stocks of the company at the mere age of 11 years. Warren buffet, which is now a billionaire with estimated worth over $45 billion, started his first investment in the Cities services preferred shares. During his studies Warren had the fortunate experience of having great mentor like Ben graham who wrote a lot on the value investing and had a lot of experience in the stock market investment. The graham inspired the young boy and Buffet now more than ever started focusing on his investment strategies. Ben Graham had a brokerage and house and he offered a broker job to Warren buffet which Buffet accepted promptly and started working at a very good brokerage firm. During working with the Ben graham however the young broker realize how his investment style is different from that of his mentor.

In 1956, Buffet started his own firm on partnership. The company that he started at that time had asset under management a little over $300,000, which nowadays is in billions of dollars. Buffet never stops to amaze the investment community. In the first year of his own firm he earned the return, which was 160 points above the Dow Jones index return, and this early success marked the capstone of his company and Buffet’s success and personal fame. Warren Buffet in 1965 obtained over 49% equity of the Berkshire Hathaway which was an investment company but was managed so poorly.
