Travelers Companies (TRV) is among the top insurance companies when it comes to
commercial property insurance industry. Estimation is that it is the second
largest company in U.S. Additionally it is among the top 5 personal insurance
companies too when independent agents network is taken in to account. Travelers
have its headquarters in whereas a well systematic and organized network of
agents is in all the U.S states. Addition to this the company also operates in
other countries such as in United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Brazil and
Singapore. Travelers Company in 2012 declared the revenue of $25.7 billion with
total assets worth of $104.9 billion.
TRV offers a
diversified range of services to maximum segments of the society such as auto
insurance, homeowners insurance, condo insurance; pay your bill, identity fraud
protection to individuals. Other than this they facilitate different segments
with small business insurance, medium size business insurance, large business
insurance, surety bonds etc.
Recently
Travelers institute (public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc.)
has started “Small Business – Big Opportunity” series of conferences in
partnership with Henderson Brothers and Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, (the two
local insurance agencies) in Cranberry Township. The main agenda will be to
analyze how communities can help to create an atmosphere which is supportive to
the small businesses.
