Super centers on retail food industry and its effects

The super centers and hyper centers are the retail super markets in higher level. People have interest in exploring the food and its varieties. Varieties of food in different labels and tastes are attractive to public.  The attraction to the foods in different and compact packages at a reasonable price pulls the mass attraction.

The super centers of the retail food industry dominating the world are Wal-Mart, Target, CST Brands, Inc. , and K mart. These are very famous for the discounts and number of brands for the food packages. Wal-Mart accounts for more than 51 % of stores sales of food and groceries every year. They have different strategy to increase the sales. They generally keep their margin low compared to the traditional super market. They have their own production and distribution system for their groceries and fresh produce. Traditional markets are still depending on others for the fresh produce and quality of the products. These super chain stores like CST stock have taken all the small super markets and small family owned business as part of their system. The major disadvantage of the super centers is the crash of all the small retail stores in every state. The made all of them out of business.
