The World Cup provides for Economic Boom in Brazil

With the FIFA world cup just around the corner, many hotels are gearing up to receive a large influx of tourists from around the globe in Brazil. The world cup will start from June 16 and is considered as the biggest sporting spectacle after the Olympics. FIFA world cup is massive not only in sporting sense but also provides a substantial boost to the country which is hosting it.

However Brazil is home to one of the most expensive hotels in the world and Federation of Rio is already cautioning the fans who plan to travel to Brazil about this. Many feel due to the high prices charged; the tourists will look for other cheap options.  Although the hotel industry is confident that it will take into context all these factors. In fact according to them the hotels in Brazil are more than ready to welcome all these fans that will travel to Brazil. The number estimated is around 1 million. These hotels have already started to hire extra staff  to accommodate these numbers. This in fact shows the desire of the hotels to not let go of the potential of catering to these amounts of numbers.
